Lambda Automata acquires Smart Flying Machines

The future of defence lies in low-cost, small-scale and attritable unmanned systems across land, sea, and air. To that end, we're pleased to announce our acquisition of Smart Flying Machines (SFM), a manufacturer of autonomous aerial vehicles, to help build the technologies that will keep Europe safe.

We met the team a few months ago and were impressed by their spirit and story: mechanics from Thessaly building state of the art autonomous aircraft.

With this acquisition, Lambda Automata will continue to develop the systems, networks, and hardware to defend European democracies and their allies.
